Every year around the end of June and mid of September, the roads and passes around the Sella mountain range are closed for motorized traffic - and free for bycicles!
The roads and passes round the majestic Sella mountain range are closed from the morning to the afternoon in those two days for motorised vehicles and are thus open only for cyclers. That’s how these impressive roads transform into a real paradise for those who love their two-wheeled vehicle! No disturbing noises, buses or motorbikes on the roads… just cyclers have the possibility to climb the passes by bike. Goodbye engine noise and exhaust fumes!
However, everyone can participate, starting from Selva di Val Gardena, Corvara in Badia, Arabba or Canazei, and explore the Dolomite passes. Passo Gardena, Campolongo, Pordoi and Sella expect you!
The traditional “Bike Day” is organized every year around the end of June or the beginning of July, while the “Eco Dolomites” Edition follows in September.
