Alta Badia Skiing Area

Alta Badia is widely-known among skiers and snowboarders, carvers and freeskiers. On the sunny side of the Alps, they find 130 km of perfectly groomed slopes in the heart of the Dolomites. The lfit facilities start in the single villages in the valley, e.g. the Piz Sorega Gondola Lift in San Cassiano, the Piz La Ila Cable Car in La Villa, the La Crusc Lift in Pedraces and the Col Alto Gondola Lift.

The most demanding slopes include the famous Gran Risa in La Villa - the downhill run of the Ski World Cup elite -, the black slope Vallon-Boè in Corvara and panoramic downhill run from Mt. Lagazuoi. Families prefer the easy slopes, where children-friendly places such as the Kids Fun Park Colfosco, the Kids Fun Line La Crusc and the ski kindergartens are located. In the meantime, parents can take to the slopes and enjoy regional dishes at one of the rustic ski lodges.

The boarders' paradise is called Movimënt Snow Park Alta Badia, Movimënt Fun Cross La Para and Fun Zone Edelweiss. Included in the Alta Badia Skiing Area is the direct access to the famous Sella Ronda, which allows you to ski round the Sella Massif without removing your skis in one day. The spectacular ski tour of the four Dolomite Passes leads also through the four Ladin valleys: Val Gardena, Alta Badia, Val di Fassa and Arabba. In addition, there's the 1st World War Tour which passes under the cliff walls of famed peaks like Mt. Lagazuoi, Mt. Conturines and Mt. Marmolada.
