Cycling at the heart of the Dolomites ia a real pleasure

In the beginnings there were only 166 of them; in 2007 the number of cyclists mastering a 175 km long track across 7 mighty mountain passes amounts to 9000. We are talking about the Maratona dles Dolomites, a thrilling cycling races for non-professionals who contemporaneously may sustain a non-profit project in Africa.

Serving as a stunning background scenery, the mighty pale mountains of the Dolomites attract numerous cyclists and visitors, every year, again and again. Moreover, the marathon is fairly well organised, as many of the local associations and clubs are participating in it.

So what are you waiting for? Every year in early July it is time again for one of South Tyrol’s most popular cycling races!
