Gruppo di Tessa

A mountain chain in the Gruppo di Tessa nature park.

The gruppo di Tessa is a mountain chain of the Central Alps and is part of the Ötztal Alps. This mountain chain is bounded by the Val Passiria in the east, by Val Senales in the west and Val Venosta in the south.

The Gruppo di Tessa is completely situated in the homonymous nature park, which is characterised by its diverse flora and fauna. Moreover this nature park is the largest of its kind in South Tyrol. Due to glacial ablation and water storage capacity, this area is rich in water.

In addition this high moutain region is a jewel for those who love hiking and nature in general.
