From June 7 to 29, the UEFA EURO 2008 takes place in Austria and Swizzerland. Already in 2000, the European Football Championship were staged in two countries, that is to say in Belgium and the Netherlands. Thus this year it is the second time in history for European Football Championships to be organised in two different countries. The matches will be staged in 8 cities, four in Swizzerland and likewise 4 in Austria: Basel, Berne, Geneva, Zurich, Innsbruck, Klagenfurt, Salzburg and Vienna.
Of course also in South Tyrol the upcoming UEFA EURO 2008 is waited with bated breath and will be celebrated all around. If you are a real football fan and you are on holidays in South Tyrol, you can follow the matches on numerous screens in the following locations:

By the way: the logo of the EURO 2008 symbolises a similarity of the hosting countries Austria and Switzerland, illustrated as a red line. In the middle there is a football in the green.
