Almost forgotten arts and crafts such as quill pen embroidery, weaving or turning as well as sweet delicacies such as Krapfen and Striezln are waiting for those visiting Val Sarnetino in the weeks before Christmas. With more than 20 nicely decorated stands, Advent in Val Sarentino promises a special kind of experience!

Enjoy a romantic trip across the sparkling white sceneries of Val Sarentino. We start off at the church square of Sarentino.
> arts and crafts in Val Sarentino:
From 2-6 pm a “living workshop” in the centre of Sarentino introduces visitors to the ancient handcrafts of Val Sarentino, such as quill pen embroidery, basket making and many more.
> a living crib and Christmas play
A “living” crib with Mary and Joseph, shepherds, angels and real sheep tell the holy Christmas story. On the Piazza della Posta in Sarentino.

> the “Klöckler” of Val Sarentino
at 7 pm: The so-called “Klöckler”, ancient figures wearing strange dresses, sound huge bells to ban the long winter season and awake earth after its winter rest.
