Crib exhibition in Val Gardena

Wood-carving in Val Gardena boasts a long tradition. Have a look at the most refined cribs!

From December 1, 2006 to January 7, 2007 – that is to say throughout the whole Christmas time – Ortisei in Val Gardena hosts a special event: one of the biggest crib exhibition all over the region.

The artists of the Gardena Art Organisation exhibit their works of art along the pedestrian zone in the centre of Ortisei. Stop by, watch the artists working and get to know some interesting information about wood-carving in Val Gardena.

But it doesn’t stop here - on December 18 the next highlight is due! The students of the vocational school of arts and crafts in Val Gardena will meet in the centre of Selva Val Gardena and carve a marvellous Christmas crib out of snow :-)
