Sellaronda Skimarathon

The international skitouring night race Sellaronda Skimarathon takes athletes round the Sella alpenstock in the heart of the Dolomites.

March 5, 2010 is a very important day for those who love ski touring, as it is the day when this year’s Sellaronda Skimarathon takes place. This international ski touring competition takes place in the heart of the Dolomites and makes athletes overcome a course fo 42 km, racing round the Sella alpenstock. More than 400 participants coming from several different countries are expected to participate.

Two athletes from one team, equipped with touring skis, climbing skins and headlamp. The course includes four Dolomite passes, via Corvara, Arabba, Canazei and Selva.
