“Slittada da paur”- Alta Badia

A particular parade is taking place in Alta Badia on February 14, 2010.

Horses and decorated carriages are going to parade in Alta Badia on February 14, 2010. This is not only Valentine’s Day, but there is also the traditional event „slittada da paur“.

Horses and precious carriages are lushly decorated on this occasion. In former times the carriages were first of all means of transport and they were passed on from generation to generation. Arrival of the decorated carriages at La Villa has been scheduled for noon.

There is also a competition for horse-drawn sleighs and skijöring. Spectators are warmly welcome to watch these events. See you at Alta Badia.
