The picturesque village of Naz is located at 890 m asl in the heart of the sun-drenched high plateau. Surrounded by apple orchards, Naz is the touristic centre of the municipality.

Worth a visit is the S. Philip and Jacob parish church, whose steeple has been constructed of 1,400 granite ashlars. The neo-Gothic high altar is decorated by sculptures, formed by the famous artist Michael Pacher. If you are interested in art, we also recommend you a visit to the Rudolf Bacher Museum, exhibiting pieces of arts of the famous wood carver (1903 - 1983).

Would you like to make a walk? We highly recommend you the blossom trail (Blütenwanderung), for which you should schedule about 2 hours. Also can you reach the city of Bressanone of foot, or you can make a walk to the Abbey of Novacella. In winter, enjoy ice skating in the village of Naz or a pleasant winer walk.

Our tip: the hiking trail number 4 leads the way to the Rienza bridge, where you can find an information panel, providing interesting information on the natural water installation supplying the high plateau with drinking water since the 1950s. A pioneering achievement on European scale.
