Nestling on the Alpe di Siusi and enjoying the largest alpine pasture in Europe.

Already Medieval troubadours were singing about this pretty place on the Alpe di Siusi pasture, which attracted such famous celebrities as Max Valier, Arturo Toscanini and Manfred Eigen. With the beginning of the 20th century, Siusi became a renowned holiday resort.

Located on a high plateau, the village boasts a fairly nice natural scenery. The surrounding mountains as the Fassa Dolomites, Alpe di Siusi and Monte Sciliar are ideally-suited to hikes, climbing tours and pic-nics in the great outdoors. And a visit to the local nature park is almost a must!

> We suggest: Visit the Hauenstein ruin in summer and embark on a trip on a horse-drawn carriage in winter!
