Enjoyable holidays on the sunny plateau of Renon.

Soprabolzano - known as Oberbozen in German - is easily accessible even without a car. Built in 1907, the Renon cable car takes you from Bolzano right to the sunny high altitude plateau Renon. Once a rack railway, it became a cable car in 1966. Today it provides a marvelling view of the basin stretching beneath. The hamlets of Soprabolzano and Collalbo are however still connected by the historic rack railway…

A special kind of experience is the bee museum in Costalovara. Boasting a more than 500 years old tradition, the Plattnerhof farm tells you all you want to know about those hard-working animals called bees. In 2004, moreover, an interesting educational path about bees was created. The bee museum of Costalovara together with the earth pyramids in Valle del Rio Rivellone are definitely worth a visit!
