Obereggen

Surrounded by spruce and larch forests, there is the winter sport resort Obereggen, located at the foot of the Latemar mountains.

Rich green larches and spruces surround the winter resort of Obereggen. In the 60s, the first ski lift was built, which marked the beginnings of tourism in this friendly village called Obereggen.

Out of the first ski lift a whole ski area - the Ski Center Latemar-Obereggen - was created, featuring 46 km of slopes and 18 state-of-the-art lift facilities. Those who love winter sports and outdoor activities can look forward to nighttime tobogganing and skiing. For those who prefer snowboarding, there are halfpipes as well as a fun park. And if you would like to enjoy the fairytale winter landscape we recommend you a pleasant winter walk to the alpine pastures of Malga Ganisch or Malga Zischg.
