Naturno

In Naturno you can enjoy walking along the “Waalwege” channels.

Naturno and its surroundings actually resemble a huge fruit orchard, with aromatic grapes and apples, tasty kiwis and figs. And even the range of sport activities is huge, ranging from rafting along the Adige river to a climbing practice area, a water park and several golf courses in the near-by areas. There will be something for everyone!

Towering high above Naturno is the landmark of the village: Hochnaturns Castle (see image). Serving as a hotel for quite some time, it closed its doors in 1992 and unfortunately can’t be visited anymore. Opened and definitely worth visiting is however the well-known Prokulus Church, boasting the oldest frescoes all over the German speaking region!

> We suggest: Embark on a trip along the “Waalwege”, former irrigation channels serving as lovely hiking paths today, and relax in the Naturno water park!
