Aldino village

The small but mighty village of Aldino extends at the foot of the Corno Bianco near the famous Dolomite Road

The village centre of Aldino is located at 1,255 m a.s.l., at the low mountain range of the Monte Regolo, a sun-drenched plateau high above the Val d’Adige valley. Endless are the hiking opportunities in this fabulous landscape. The alpine pastures of Aldino for example can be experienced in a hiking tour, if you prefer more exhausting mountain walks we recommend to conquer the Corno Bianco. Interesting not only from a geological viewpoint is the Rio delle Foglie Geoparc located between Aldino and Redagno, revealing exclusive information on volcanic and sedimentary rocks.

In the midst of meadows and forests you come across the most famous pilgrimage site of South Tyrol, which is Pietralba. Monte San Pietro, however, is the golfers’ destination of first choice, offering an 18-hole golf-course. The village museum exhibits a precious selection of items dating back to the Baroque and rococo era.

The Passo Oclini, however, is particularly popular with those who love skiing and snowboarding. Located between Corno Bianco and Corno Nero, this skiing area is ideal for families, offering 7 km of ski runs, ski school and ski rental.
