In the 14th century, the judge and care worker of Enna was allowed to build a total of ten farms. Out of these farms lateron the village of Anterivo was created. Still today, the local emblem shows you these ten farms, the place originated in.
To arrive to this friendly hamlet you have to drive across colourful larches and spruces towards the Val di Fiemme valley. Here, at the heart of the Monte Corno Nature Park, nestles the village of Anterivo. Slightly southwards there is a little hill, where primeval tools and fragments were found. There is nothing to wonder about as this is the place, where according to ancient documents some eerie witch ceremonies were organised…
