Ever heard of Andreas Hofer? Well, this is the name of the most legendary freedom fighter all over Tyrol. He was the leader when in 1809 the Tyroleans so bitterly fought against Napoleon and the French sovereignty. After the fight he was captured and shot without mercy in Mantova.
