Valle Anterselva is a member of the Climate Alliance and serves thus as a model to numerous other places and valleys. At the end of the 18 km long valley - divided into Upper, Middle and Lower Valle Anterselva - nestles Lake Anterselva and those driving further across Passo Stalle will directly arrive to the Defreggen valley in near-by Austria. But watch out: the panoramic road across Passo Stalle is opened in summer only!
In winter, the whole valley is focusing on one topic only: cross-country skiing. On a regular basis, the village of Anterselva hosts international cross-country competitions; in 2007 it even hold the world championships! Cross-country skiers and biathletes can look forward to 62 km of carefully groomed runs and the instructors of the local cross-country ski school will be more than willing to show you the right moves…
> We suggest: Relax while walking around Lake Anterselva and visit the pretty Wegerkeller tavern!
