Sciaves

Located high above the Valle Isarco, Sciaves welcomes you with a great view as well as countless colourful and juicy apples.

The municipality of Naz-Sciaves and its five localities Naz, Sciaves, Rasa, Fiumes and Aica, is located on the sunny high plateau above the Valle Isarco. The lovely village of Sciaves is the main locality on the high plateau and is located at 775 m asl. Surrounded by apple orchards and pine tree forests, Sciaves offers great hiking paths across fruit orchards in full blossom as well as pleasant hikes across the forests.

The skiing areas Plose near Bressanone as well as Gitschberg-Jochtal in Maranza are only a stone’s throw away and provide fun and action in the snow, to adults’ and children’s contents.

Also the chapel and wayside shrine “Uralubsstöckl” at the southern slope of the mountain of Spinga also belongs to Sciaves. The little pilgrimage church can be reached in a pleasant walk starting from Sciaves. Enjoy the great view!
