Valles

This village is perfect for skiing in winter and a great starting point for hikes in summer.

If you drive on from Rio di Pusteria, you arrive at Valles and Spinga. What is most impressive about the Valles valley are the old farms as well as the Mediaeval chalet hamlet “Fane”. Valles is equated with idyllic mountains. This is the place where you can find tradition and culture as well as different possibilities regarding leisure time activities.

Protected by the mountain chain of Fundres, Valles is a popular holiday destination both in winter and summer. This is also the place where different hiking trails begin. These trails lead for example to the chalet “Rifugio Bressanone” or to the Picco della Croce that offers a great view!

In winter, the skiing resort Gitschberg-Jochtal offers all that the heart can desire. There are well-groomed slopes, chalets, cross-country ski trails… and of course Après Ski… !
