Valle di Tures - Valle Aurina

The Valle Aurina is the northernmost side valley of South Tyrol and stretches from Gais to Casere at the idylic head of the valley.

Comprising an area of about 640 sq km, the Valle Aurina stretches from Gais near Brunico across the municipalities of Campo Tures and Aurina to Predoi. It also comprises the side valleys of Riva di Tures and Selva dei Molini and is run through by the Aurino river.

The most interesting sights and natural monuments of the valley are the waterfalls of Riva at Campo Tures, Castel Tures, the show mine of Predoi, the mining museum in Cadipietra, the Climatic Gallery, the S. Spirito church at the head of the valley and last but not least the more than 80 three-thousanders that rise into the sky in the Vedrette di Ries nature park, which provides manifold possibilities for your leisure.
