Gais

Gais is the gateway to Val di Tures valley.

Those travelling from Bolzano to the town of Brunico and turning left at the centre of the town, will arrive to the holiday resort of Gais. The municipality includes the hamlets of Montassilone, Riomolino and Villa Ottone and has a lot to offer. The sporty ones for instance can look forward to a karting track, rafting, paragliding and a horse stable - so what are you waiting for?

Those interested in culture and history might visit the medieval House of the Trustee or a worldwide unique museum at the Hotel Burgfrieden, featuring more than 600 firemen helmets. And for the kids there is a lovely bathing lake right outside the village as well as a fun and recreation park in the village centre…
