On a gentle rolling hill at the heart of Valle Aurina - here you find the friendly village of San Giacomo. Traditional handwork is of utmost importance to the inhabitants of the village. This proves for instance the local wood-carving school or a renowned mask carver called “Matzilerbauer”.

San Giacomo, however, isn’t one of those idle, deserted places. Just visit San Giacomo in August and you will get to know its true face. August in San Giacomo is party time, as then every year again the legendary Rock’n Toul open air festival takes place. From hardcore to rock, blues, folk and medieval music - there will be something for everyone…
