Selva dei Molini

This village is located in idyllic position in the homonymous valley and is surrounded by the Alps of the Zillertal valley.

This is where time seems to stand still: in the heart of Valle Aurina between cron mills and mountain streams, there is the idyllic village of Selva dei Molini.

Surrounded by the Zilletal Alps, this village is a perfect starting point for hikes on the most famous mountains of the Zillertal valley, as for instance the Gran Piilastro, Punta Bianca e Gran Mesule. If you prefer less challenging hikes you can make a tour to the refuges Ponte di Ghiaccio and Rifugio Giovanni Porro.

Holidays in the heart of nature…

> Our tip: a walk round the artificial lake Neves, which is starting point of various hikes. In winter we recommend you to make a sled ride on the alpine pasture “Weizengruber”.
