The village of Prantago borders on the municipality of San Martino and the villages of San Leonardo, Mora and Fartleis. The scattered settlement, situated at 987 m, snuggles on the Monte di Prantago, comprises a series of farmsteads and boasts no real centre.
If you play golf, you might already be familiar with Prantago, as it is site of a challenging 18-hole golf course, which is playable almost the whole year round. An while playing golf, you can enjoy the fabulous nature of the Val Passiria valley. To those who prefer hiking, we recommend a walk to the Malga Pfandler, which owes its fame to the Tyrolean freedom fighter Andreas Hofer, who hid in this place.
