The Dolomites

Enjoy the stunning view on the world famous mountains

You are skiing with total commitment on the ski skopes of Dolomiti Superski? The delightful view on the snowy mountain peaks will be your reward! The Dolomite mountains, which surround you, have got a long history. The “most beautiful mountains in the world”, how they are often called, are about 200 million years old, but do not suffer a loss regarding their beauty. These mountains are even among the UNESCO nominees for beeing a natural heritage site. The name “Dolomites” can be attributed to the French geologist Déodat de Dolomieu, which defined the rocks of these mountains, which are also known as “Monti pallidi”, which means pale mountains. The most important mountains are the Funes-Braies Dolomites, the Dolomites of Sesto, the Sciliar, the Catinaccio, the Latemar and the Odle-Puez mountain chain. The highest mountain peak is the famous Marmolada (3,342 m).
