Monte Cavallo skiing area

Monte Cavallo is the sun-drenched skiing area of the city of Vipiteno and belongs to the Ortler Skiarena.

Not far from Vipiteno there is the Monte Cavallo skiing area, the sun terrace of the city. Within a few minutes, a modern gondola lift takes you to the top of the mountain, where you can enjoy skiing on the 18 km of well groomed easy and medium slopes. Since recently this skiing area is integrated in the “Ortler Skiarena”.

Also in this ski region there are several possibilities to stop for a bite to eat. However, children can take their first steps on skis, guided by the ski instructors of the ski school, specialised in teaching children. Children can look forward to different adventures including a visit to the witch as well as to the bears.
