Plan skiing area

Skiing at the foot of the Altissima in the Ortler Skiarena is possible in Val Passiria.

The small skiing area of Plan is located in Alta Val Passiria at the end of the homonymous valley. This quiet little village is surrounded by the Gruppo di Tessa nature park and located at the foot of the mountains Croda del Lago (3426 m) and Altissima (3482 m).

In this ski-region you can practice any winter sport you like, whether you prefer skiing, snowboarding, ice skating, cross-country skiing or ski mountaineering. And your accommodation is situated not far from the lift facilities. Those who love the thrill can even try ice climbing. Also horse and sleigh riding are offered.

However, children are received with open arms in the skiing area of Plan and, if aged under 8, they ski for free! Moreover there are two ski lifts for beginners, a cableway for 8 people and heated chair lifts.

Altitude: 1,601 - 2,502 m asl
Km of slopes: 10 km (2,5 km easy, 7 km medium, 0,5 km difficult)
Lift facilities: 2 T-bar lifts, 1 chair lift
Toboggan runs: 2 runs (0,45 km for families, 3,5 km)
Snowboard: Snowpark at the Gampenlift, every Thursday from 20.30 to 22 illuminated area and free ski lift
Cross-country ski track: 2 tracks, classic and skating, (12 and 5 km)
Night operation: on Thursdays floodlit night-time skiing at the “Gampenlift”
Evening for ski touring: Wednesdays from 5 pm to 10.30 pm on the slopes Grünboden and Karjoch
