In this skiing area of the Ortler Skiarena skiing is possible the whole year round

In the Val Senales in the north-west of Merano, there is a special skiing area, where you can ski even in summer. As a whole-year round skiing area, it attracts even national alpine skiing teams which prepare themselves for the coming winter season! Various slopes, a fair cost effectiveness and low waiting time particularly in winter season make skiers and snowboarders happy. However, also other sports like snowshoeing, ski mountaineering and cross-country skiing are beneficial for body and soul.
