Description
On Saturday, 8th october, many of South Tyrols Romanesque heritage sites will open their doors and provide insight into the unique architectural and artistic elements from the period between 700-1300 AD. Free tours are organized around the many churches and chapels but also of secular buildings dating to the early Middle Ages. Eppan opens the doors to its unique Romanesque chapel of Hocheppan, which is also known as the "Sistine Chapel of the Alps", providing guided tours to discover the Romanesque frescos and much more.
