At the entrance of the Val di Rudo at San Vigilio di Marebbe, the visitor centre of the Fanes-Senes-Braies Nature Park is located.

The exhibition of the Fanes-Senes-Braies visitor centre comprises the following topics: the origin of the Dolomites, the in 1987 discovered cave bear of the Conturines, the most important habitats of the nature park as well as a three-dimensional relief which shows the morphology of the area. Along helical ramps the different floors of the visitor centre can be reached.
Also information about the speciose alpine meadows of Armentara and Prato Piazza and the Ladin mythology are presented. And for the little ones there is the children’s workshop of Daksy, where children between 6 and 12 years can do handicrafts with natural materials and find out more about nature playfully.
