The Larix Via Ferrata in the Alpin Arena Senales at the foot of the Kurzrasbach-Wasserfall, the Rio di Cortesano Waterfall, is a highlight for families with older and adult children who already have experience on the mountain. Seven rope bridges, sky ladders and a rope slide make hiking an experience, plus sometimes challenging climbing passages.

The difficulty is moderate, with C/D sections in two short places, walking terrain over long stretches, and A. The second section above the Roter Kofel Reservoir is merely an extension with three short via ferrata passages. From its southern shore, there are then two options for the return journey: a descent via the Alpin Trail or via the very steep gravel track down to Maso Corto.

Via ferrata equipment is necessary and can be rented in Maso Corto. Parallel to the opening, the now restored historic Untere Berg Waal was also reopened, one of the old irrigation channels that run through the Val Venosta valley and can now be experienced in the popular channel hikes.
