Huberhof farm

The Huberhof farm lies above the Brixen valley basin in the idyllic hamlet of Elvas.

The farm family has converted their 18th century cellar into an inviting inn, where guests can enjoy the best of the Eisack valley’s culinary fare. The farm also takes Farm Holiday guests.

Speck, cheese, "Kaminwurzen" (chimney smoked sausage), brawn, buckwheat, beetroot, spinach and cheese dumplings, "Schlutzer" (spinach ravioli), "Erdäpfelblattlen" (fried potato pasties) with cabbage, house sausage, spare ribs, "Surfleisch" (cured meat), game. Various "Krapfen" (fried sweet pastries) and cakes. Various dishes with wild herbs in spring. Juices: red currant, elderflower, mint, apple.

The 2019 Kerner has a delicate, floral bouquet, is fresh and balanced in the mouth and pleasantly quaffable. The 2019 cuvée from Zweigelt and Portugieser has a fresh, light taste and is pleasant to drink. The 2019 Zweigelt is very full-bodied and structured on the palate. It has noticeable, but harmonious, tannins.
