The Thermal Baths of Merano

Something to look forward to in your holidays is well-being in very modern style

A highlight for South Tyrol opened its doors in December 2005. The thermal baths of Merano are a special place for regaining energy, for healing or simply for relaxing all your senses.

The highly innovative and artistically designed building offers you the following:

> 7,650 m² of thermal landscape
> 25 pools
> 8 saunas und steam baths
> a modern and well-equipped fitness centre
> an innovative Spa & Vital Centre
> a cosy bistro
> part of the park is accessible only to visitors of the thermal baths.

The water contains radon and is used for various therapies. The steam from the water is especially calming for the mucous membrane, liberating for the respiratory tract and ideal for healing processes of lung and bronchial infections.

Saltwater with sulphur has just been discovered. It contains many precious substances and its 33° celsius are especially enjoyable in winter.

Undoubtedly you will also find a place to relax in the 50,000 m² area of the park.

By the way:
Decades ago, when everything started, famous people such as Rainer Maria Rilke, Franz Kafka, the Empress Sissi und her entourage were guests in the thermal baths!

> The ticket office is open from 9 am to 8 pm
> Spa & Vital: 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
> Cèche: Monday to Saturday from 9 a.m. to 12 and 3 p.m. to 6.30 p.m
> A doctor is present from 9 am to 4 pm
