Family pasture Taser

The first family pasture of South Tyrol is located at Montescena above Merano and invites you to a visit.

The Taser family pasture is an ideal place for a family getaway: since 2004 a state-of-the-art funicular takes families up to 1,450 m asl. At the mountain station you can already see the pasture, which is also starting point for numerous hiking trails stretching in the surroundings of Montescena. As you can also make holidays on the family pasture Taser, house guests are transported for free. One-day visitors pay for the ride, but there are of course also reductions for kids.

Children’s hearts leap for joy at the family pasture, as this is the home of ducks, goats, chicken, ponies and rabbits. Underneath the pasture, there is a huge playground for kids with slides, viewing tower, flying foxes and many more surprises. The high rope course, also located at this pasture, has been established 15 m above the ground, among larch and beech tree tops. The courses are completed by a 60 m long flying fox, a real thrill.

It is high time for adults to also make their experience in the high-rope course. Afterwards we recommend you to sit back and relax in the Alpine tavern and to enjoy the great panoramic view, while the kids rage and riot on the children’s playground. Fresh ingredients such as milk and beef are transformed into delicious dishes, served in the Taser mountain hut. Before you return down to the valley, don’t miss out a good glass of wine and an afternoon snack with bacon, or a real Italian Cappuccino and a piece of apple strudel. A family getaway to this Alpine pasture guarantees an unforgettable day on holidays, for all the family members.
