Nature parks

Living nature, preserving nature: there are eight nature parks in South Tyrol

Walking across the great outdoors is always a special experience, particularly when walking across a nature park, where nature and animals are protected against human interventions (in the picture: a protected Carline thistle). Near or sometimes even in the nature park you will find valuable information centres introducing the visitors to the highly diversified flora and fauna of the surrounding area.

Get to know South Tyrol’s 8 nature parks while reading through our short overview; a 9th one, the Alpe Sarentine Nature Park, is already in planning stage.
