In Alta Val Venosta, there is the family-friendly skiing area Belpiano. Curon, the village where this ski area is situated, is easily recognizable, as you can see a steeple in the lake. At the lakeside, there is the new village centre of Curon, whereas the old centre is underwater.
The skiing area of Belpiano is popular thanks to its snow-sure ski slopes of all levels of difficulty, which are perfectly suitable for families. By the way: best quality of ski slopes is guaranteed by the Golden Slope Quality Award 2010/11!

Km of slopes: 28 km (10 km easy, 8 km medium, 10 km difficult)
Lift facilities: 1 gondola lifts, 4 ski lifts, 3 chair lifts, 1 conveyor belt for children at “Schönis Kinderland”
