Go-karting and driving in rainy and icy conditions are on the agenda in Ischia Ischia (Frizzi Au): The few houses here along the Adige River belong to Vadena, or to be more precise, to the district of Ischia Frizzi. It consists mainly of two structures: the waste disposal site for 77 South Tyrolean municipalities with the Eco Centre, and the Safety Park South Tyrolean Road Safety Centre.
The left Strada Arginale road flanks the Brennero Motorway after the industrial zone of Bolzano and leads you here. The large Safety Park is known throughout the country: Whoever wants to do a lap in a go-kart, enjoys motocross or superbike racing, or simply wants to be better prepared for wind and weather by car, comes here. The driving safety centre offers a variety of courses, including an awareness programme for children, and is enriched by a supermoto and pitbike track.
In addition, there is the already mentioned waste disposal site, the Fischerspitz Biotope and the Bolzano Fishing Association with its small pond. Here in Ischia Frizzi the Bassa Atesina Cycle Path starts, which leads from Bolzano to Vadena and further south to Salorno. If you want to go further, you can even reach the Adriatic Sea and the Po River by bike along the Via Claudia Augusta.
