video: Merano 2000 skiing area
Above Merano, there is a sunny high plateau where the skiing area Merano 2000 is located. This skiing area comprises more than 40 km of ski slopes and offers different services including a free shuttle, taking you to the lower terminus. There are several ski lifts, even lift for pedestrians and state-of the art ski lifts.
Moreover Merano 2000 offers a particular toboggan run, the Alpin Bob, an attraction that is an experience for the whole family. This area is by the way also ideal for combination of winter and spa holidays, thanks to the Thermal Baths of Merano. Moreover, the skiing area is located only a stone’s throw from the home of the Haflinger horses. And a horse ride in a snow-covered landscape is an absolute must-do.
What’s new is Luckis Kinderland, an area that is reserved for the little ones. Lucki is the mascot of this area, a Haflinger horse to which the area is dedicated.
