Ski Center Latemar Obereggen

The Obereggen skiing area is considered one of the most popular areas, located only 20 minutes from Bolzano.

The Ski Center Latemar-Obereggen is a variied ski region that offers lots of snow and is situated only 20 minutes from Bolzano. Obereggen is considered to be one of the most popular ski regions in South Tyrol… not only with skiers but also with snowboarders, as it features a large snow park.

In order to guarantee the season until mid April, this skiing area features one of the most innovative and computer-operated artificial snow-making equipment. Furthermore numerous ski lodges offer delicacies in pleasant atmosphere.

The ski slopes are illuminated on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 7 to 10 pm. There is also a toboggan run. Those who love cross-country skiing will feel at home, as the plain of Nova Ponente and Monte San Pietro is an eldorado for cross-country skiers.

Km of ski slopes: about 46 km (10 km easy, 30 km medium, 6 km difficult)
Lift facilities: 18 (14 chair lifts, 2 gondola lifts, 2 ski lifts)
Night operation: Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 7 to 10 pm
Cross-country ski tracks: about 100 km
Toboggan runs: 2,5 km (illuminated at night)
