In Predazzo, accessible via the Val d'Ega valley and the Costalunga Pass, a railway toboggan run rushes for about 1 km across the green alpine meadows of the Latemar. Here, as on the South Tyrolean side of the mountain, there are numerous hiking paths through the magnificent Dolomite landscape and - as a special highlight - the adrenaline kick with the Gardoné Alpine Coaster.
The cable car takes you up to about 1,650 m a.s.l. A few metres above the mountain station and the Baita Gardoné mountain hut with its Mountain Riviera, an artificial sandy beach with sun loungers, the adventure begins: Children from 105 cm may ride in the two-man bobsleds that are pulled up to the start, while young people from 14 years of age may ride alone. Then 980 m of descent down the mountain await you, with twists and turns, a 360° round trip and a photo point. The Alpine Coaster Gardoné also operates in winter. Exciting!
