In Predazzo, in Trentino's Val di Fiemme, accessible via the Val d'Ega and the Costalunga Pass, a thrilling alpine coaster awaits. For about a kilometre, you'll whiz across the mountain meadows below the Latemar Group. Just like on the South Tyrolean side of the mountain range, numerous hiking trails invite you to explore the magnificent Dolomite landscape. A special highlight is the Alpine Coaster, which provides an adrenaline rush in both summer and winter.
The adventure begins just a few metres from the Gardonè mountain station, above the Baita Gardonè mountain hut with its Mountain Riviera an artificial sandy beach complete with sun loungers. Children taller than 1.05 metres can ride accompanied by an adult.
Children between nine and 14 years old ride in a double toboggan with someone 15 years or older. Those aged 15 and above may tackle the 980-metre-long descent with its bends, a 360-degree twist, and a photo point on their own. Exciting! How to get to the Alpine Coaster Gardonè: The cable car will take you from Predazzo to the mountain station at 1,650 metres.

The Alpine Coaster Gardonè operates in summer and in winter - the seasons refer to the ones of the Predazzo-Gardoné Cable Car, which takes you to the Alpine Coaster.
Both remain closed in spring (early April to mid-June) and in autumn (mid-September to the end of November resp. early December).
Summer season start 2026 on June 13, winter season start 2026/2027 in early December.
