The 1,800 metres long summer toboggan run on Mt. Klausberg in the Valle Aurina valley promises lots of fun and thrill

On Mt. Klausberg, a popular hiking and skiing area in Cadipietra in the Valle Aurina valley, there's a special highlight for families and adventurers: the Klausberg Flitzer, a summer toboggan run or so-called Alpine Coaster, which starts near the mountain station and heads back down into the valley at speeds up to 40 km ph. In winter, the Valle Aurina valley offers heaps of fun on its toboggan runs, and so also in summer the fun is guaranteed - on rails!
The Klausberg Flitzer can be reached by the Klausberg Cable Car, which takes you up to 1,600 m a.s.l. in just a few minutes, or by foot. A pleasant forest trail starts at the valley station in Cadipietra and leads in 1.5 - 2 hours to the "Almboden" area, passing the Kristall Mountain Hut. By the way: The summer toboggan run is located near the Family Park on Mt. Klausberg, a family paradise with life-size dinosaurs and a zipline, a balancing course and a water world. Boredom is a foreign word!

More information
The "All Inclusive Card" includes in the summer season the ascent and descent by K-Express Gondola, a ride with the Klausberg Flitzer and a flight with the zipline.
Also tickets for 5 or 10 rides available. Children up to the age of 7 may only ride if accompanied by an adult, children aged 8 years and over may ride alone.
The Klausberg Flitzer stays open in summer and in winter, summer season start 2024 on May 18. The cable car operates daily from 8.30 am to 12.20 noon time and from 1 pm to 5.15 pm.
