Returning for a while to prehistoric times, that's what you can do in the Valle Aurina valley! The Family Park on Mt. Klausberg above the village of Cadipietra (Steinhaus) makes it possible. The Klausberg Cable Car takes you up to the mountain station at 1,600 metres a.s.l., from where a trail leads you in 15 minutes walking time to the adventure park. The Tyrannosaurus Rex and other nine life-size prehistoric giants are waiting there for small and big visitors.
Furthermore, the Klausberg Family Park includes a water world with sand and mud pools, small bridges and a Kneipp basin, as well as a balance course with slacklines, loops and climbing elements. A real highlight is the Klausberg Flitzer, a summer toboggan run.
Some time ago, the park was upgraded with a nature adventure trail including interesting stations such as the "Goat phone", the "Goat tree", and the Klausberg Zipline. New is the JumpPark, located right next to the Kristallalm, featuring 20 trampolines of various sizes.
All mentioned facilities - except the Klausberg Flitzer and the zipline - are included in the cable car ticket. In winter, the meadows turn into the Klausberg Ski Arena: The Family Park turns into a funline surrounded by 10 life-size dinosaurs - the zipline and the Klausberg Flitzer remain open.

In summer, the "All Inclusive Card" includes a return trip on the K-Express gondola lift, a ride on the Klausberg Flitzer, a zipline ride, and 1 hour at the JumpPark with 20 trampolines of various sizes.
The opening hours are those of the Klausberg Cable Car, which provides access to Klausberg Family Park: It operates daily from mid-May to early November. The Klausberg Flitzer remains open throughout the winter. Season start 2026 on May 15.
