In the Val d'Ega valley, between King Laurin's rose garden on Mt. Catinaccio and the Latemar Dolls, the Carezza Dolomites Skiing Area and the Ski Center Latemar-Obereggen can be found. In summer, a hiking area with a golf course awaits you here. Nature also enchants at the nearby Lake Carezza, the "Eye of the Dolomites" - its blue-green water reflects the Latemar peaks.
At the southern slopes of the mountain chain there's Obereggen, famous beyond borders, and the Monte Regolo highlands with Nova Ponente. As far down as the Valle Isarco and up across vineyards to the village of Collepietra, the municipality of Cornedo with its mighty castle stretches. Collepietra offers two true highlights: the Earth Pyramids and the astronomical observatory.
