Recharge your energy, sit back and relax, concentrate on your body - that's what you can do in the first Kneipp cure park of Italy, established in Villabassa (Niederdorf). Below an overview of the possible Kneipp cures you can choose from. An arm bath for instance is regenerating, stimulates your blood flow, lowers your heart rate and is carried out by immersing your lower and half of the upper arms into cold water, until they start prickling. A facial bath refreshes your skin, stimulates your blood circulation and toughens in general. Also toughening is trading water in cold water.

A special method offered in the Kneipp-für-mich® park is the dew cure, carried out in a meadow in the park, where medical plants such as the ladies mantle grow. In the morning the cups of this plants are filled with drew drops. Walk two to five minutes on these plants, afterwards wear warm socks and warm your feet by moving. As the theory of Sebastian Kneipp is based on barefoot walking, the park of Villabassa also offers a barefoot trail. Waking barefoot strengthens your foot muscles and stimulates the whole body. In the open air inhalatorium, the first of its kind in Italy, brine flows over mountain pine and blackthorn and absorbs its essential oils. This is how a whiff of sea air emerges, which has a positive impact on persons suffering from allergies and asthma.

The drinking pavillon is fed by the famous healing springs of Bad Maistatt that is considered to have a beneficial impact on digestion disorders, metabolic disorders and gynecological diseases. The adjacent playground has been completely renewed in 2024, a new relax area and a motorikpark concept, however, replace the existing adventure land and floodgates.
