For a few years now, a new all-year-round toboggan run has enhanced the leisure activities on the Plose: the Plose Bob. Children between 4 and 11 years old, and at least 105 cm tall, must ride with an adult. From the age of 12, they can ride alone. Two teenagers can also ride together if both are at least 14 years old. The start and finish of the Plose Bob are located at the Plose mountain station at 2,050 metres above sea level.
There, you'll take your place in one of the enclosed bobs, whose very construction inspires confidence. Then, choose between a normal start or use the launch catapult, that's to say "Chicken" or "Hero" - and off you go, whooshing downwards on rails! On the action-packed descent, you'll cover a 105-metre drop in altitude, whizzing through numerous curves. In summer, the WoodyWalk, a panoramic trail for families, meanders through the mountain landscape here.
In winter, the Plose transforms into a popular skiing area. Warm clothing, sturdy footwear, a hat, gloves, and ski goggles or sunglasses are recommended for winter rides on the Plose Bob.
Ski boots are not permitted on the ride. How to get to the Plose Bob? The valley station is in Sant'Andrea, just outside and slightly above Bressanone town centre. It has ample parking and is also easily accessible by public bus.

The tickets for the rides are available at the Infoshop at the mountain station of the Plose Cable Car. Possible short-term closures for safety reasons in case of rain, snowfall or thunderstorm.
The Plose Bob operates every day in summer and in winter - the seasons refer to the ones of the Plose Cable Car, which takes you to the Plose Bob. Both remain closed in spring (early April to the end of May) and in autumn (early November to early December).
