The skiing area with the longest valley run of South Tyrol is located on the local mountain of Bressanone, the 2,562 m high Plose.

The 42 km of ski slopes provide fun and action in the snow: The valley station of the cable car is located near the component locality of Sant'Andrea. From the summit of Mt. Plose, however, you can enjoy the view on the Dolomites in the south and on the main chain of the Alps in the north.
A minimum of fitness is required when you ski down the longest valley run in South Tyrol, the 9 km long Trametsch slope. It starts at the Plose Mountain Hut at 2,486 m a.s.l. and overcomes 1,400 m of altitude difference on its way to the valley station. Furthermore, there are the "Kinderland" near the valley station and - for snowboarders - the 1 km long Plose Fun Park and the Chill Area. If you are learn skiing, you can try your first steps on the Randötsch practice and school slope.
On Mt. Plose, 7 km away from Bressanone and just 34 km from the Brennero Pass and member of Dolomiti Superski, the Valle Isarco ski pass is valid (Plose and Gitschberg-Jochtal). A skibus connects the surrounding villages with the skiing area high above Bressanone.
