The Ladurns Skiing Area in the Val di Fleres valley is one of the two skiing areas between Vipiteno and the Brennero Pass.
Small but mighty - that's what the Ladurns Skiing Area is all about. It is located in the Val di Fleres, a side valley of the Upper Valle Isarco. The lift facilities take you to the 18 km of ski slopes - among them there's also the special Wastenegg Chairlift in Pininfarina look and the new Ladurns Gondola Lift which starts at the parking space along the Val di Fleres road, 10 km from Vipiteno.
For its moderate dimensions and the large slopes, the Ladurns Skiing Area is particularly popular with families and beginners. The offer for the little ones includes Fichti's Kinderland - a 5,000 sqm large paradise on the snow - and the local ski school which is specialized in teaching to children. But there are also some challenging runs, such as the black Ladurns IV Slope and the Patrick Staudacher downhill run. It is dedicated to Patrick Staudacher, the 2007 Super-G World Champion born in Vipiteno. For the winter season 2022/23, the valley run has been significantly enlarged.
The cosy ski huts invite to a stop. There are three of them: the Ladurner Hut offering South Tyrolean delicacies as well as homemade blueberry schnapps, the Pfeiferhuisele Hut and the Edelweiss Hut. The Alta Valle Isarco Ski Pass is valid here, comprising the three skiing areas of Racines-Giovo, Mount Cavallo and Ladurns. To make the offer complete, the picturesque Val di Fleres valley is a true paradise for winter hikers, snowshoe hikers and cross-country skiers.
