Gitschberg-Jochtal skiing area

The two small but mighty skiing areas Gitschberg and Jochtal in the Valle Isarco valley are connected by a modern cable car.

Already a decade ago, the two small but mighty skiing areas of Maranza and Valles have become one. 55 km of ski slopes on the southern slopes of the Fundres Mountains and 15 lift facilities, including a cabin with glass floor and the 10-seater cable car "Ski Express" which replaces the Breiteben and Sergerwiese ski lifts, are waiting for you in the Gitschberg-Jochtal skiing area.

Wide slopes characterise above all the Gitschberg skiing area, also known as Monte Guzzo, while carving fans love the slopes in the Jochtal skiing area. If the weather is fine, from the top of Mt. Gitschberg you can enjoy a great view on more than 500 mountain peaks. Furthermore, the ski huts along the slopes - such as the Anratter, Pichler and Gitsch Ski Huts - invite to a stop.

The snow park, the Gitschberg Speed Track, two certified ski schools, and the children parks of the Jochtal Ski School and the Gitschberg Ski School complete the offer of the skiing area. New is the Wood Line, a kids area in the forest with wooden elements along the ski slope no. 10.
