Solda skiing area

The Solda skiing area is located in the Stelvio National Park and makes you enjoy skiing until May, thanks to its glacier.

Solda, one of the four skiing areas in the Val Venosta and part of the Ortler Skiarena and the Two Country Skiarena, features modern infrastructure. One of the lifts is the new 10-seater cable car, which is going to replace the 2-seater Pulpito Chairlift in 2021. Here, in the neighbourhood of King Ortles, you can enjoy a beautiful view on 13 three-thousanders. A splendid panorama!

44 km of ski slopes in all levels of difficulty and the Madriccio Fun Park, located right next to the Madriccio Mountain Hut at 2,820 m a.s.l., offer variety for skiers and snowboarders alike. Furthermore, the Solda Ski School, founded 75 years ago, offers children's courses, private lessons, snowboard courses, a children's park and the popular Yeti-Club.

The winter season already starts at the end of October and ends in early May. At night, the slope between Pulpito and cable car turns into a 2 km long toboggan run, which is illuminated on a regular basis. There is also a 7 km long high-altitude cross-country trail, located in Solda at 1,900 m a.s.l., which is used for cross-country skiing races.
